This Privacy Policy explains how Edge Lighting ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the iOS app and related web pages.

Information We Collect

The App is designed to create and save edge lighting wallpapers. We do not require you to create an account. Based on the current app implementation, we do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or precise location through the App.

Photos and User Images

If you choose a photo as a wallpaper background, the photo is selected through Apple's Photos picker and is processed on your device to generate the wallpaper. The App does not upload your selected personal photos to our servers.

If you save a wallpaper, the App asks for permission to add the generated image or Live Photo to your Photos library. This permission is used only to save the wallpaper you create.

Wallpaper Content

The App may load wallpaper previews, presets, categories, colors, and related content from Firebase or other hosted services. When this content is requested, your device may connect to those services and standard technical information such as IP address, device/browser information, and request time may be processed by the hosting provider to deliver the content and maintain security.

Push Notifications

If you allow notifications, the App may use Apple Push Notification service and Firebase Cloud Messaging to send reminders, app updates, and wallpaper-related messages. Firebase and Apple may generate device notification tokens for your app installation so messages can be delivered. These tokens identify the app installation for notification delivery and are not used by us to identify you by name.

Local App Data

The App may store your saved presets, selected settings, and customization choices locally on your device so you can continue editing or reusing your wallpapers.

Analytics, Ads, and Purchases

The current iOS app code reviewed for this policy does not include analytics, advertising SDKs, account login, or active in-app purchase processing. If these features are added later, this Privacy Policy should be updated before release to describe the additional data practices.

Third-Party Services

The App or related web pages may use third-party services to host content and provide app functionality, including Firebase and Apple system services such as Photos. These providers process information according to their own terms and privacy policies.

Children's Privacy

The App is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

Data Security

We use reasonable technical measures appropriate to the type of information handled by the App. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Choices

• You can choose not to grant Photos access. Without this permission, the App may not be able to save wallpapers to your Photos library.
• You can allow or disable push notifications at any time in the iOS Settings app.
• You can delete generated wallpapers from the Photos app at any time.
• You can remove the App from your device to delete locally stored app data, subject to iOS behavior and backups.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
